This incredibly large 3D promotional display was used by merchants in the UK to promote the 1990 Led Zeppelin Remasters release. Measuring 39″ x 27.5″, the display consists of a cardboard field scene with a clear plastic screen attached to the front.
The cardboard portion features the iconic Remasters field image, while the clear plastic screen, measuring 31″ x 27″, is printed with the Led Zeppelin name, Remasters logo, and blimp image.
The cardboard is designed to be arched, allowing the clear plastic screen to attach to the front of the arch. When assembled, this creates an imposing three-dimensional effect, making the blimp and lettering appear to hover above the field.
These displays have become increasingly difficult to find due to their large size and the brittle nature of the plastic screen. The screen can only be attached and removed a limited number of times before the plastic begins to crack, making surviving examples in excellent condition particularly scarce.
